Microaggressions are common in our daily interactions. Women across the nation report experiencing microaggressions more often than men. The same is true for underrepresented groups too.

Women and minorities in health care personnel are especially vulnerable as they are working long hours and in a stressful environment. The COVID Pandemic has certainly escalated the work stress in healthcare.

Over time, microaggressions can lead to cumulative stress and result in anxiety, depression, and decrease wellness.

Your stories and narratives are the vital tools needed to better understand common workplace microaggressions and indignities people experience.

Please go to the bottom of this page to share your stories and experiences.

This will enable Project Respect to create tools and training programs to improve implement a courtesy campaign. Thank you!
